Have you had your say on outpatient services? There is still time!

If you, a close friend or a family member you care for has recently used outpatient services at Medway Hospital let them know your thoughts.

The providers who organise outpatients are seeking to improve the service. To do that, they need to hear about your recent visit. What could be improved? What is working well?

The reasons for change

The current NHS outpatient model across England has been described as not useful in this day and age.  In the past ten years, the number of appointments has doubled, meaning hospitals like Medway Maritime need to look into their services to ensure they are meeting your needs.

How you can help

If you or a close family member have recently used outpatient services at Medway Hospital, please complete their patient survey.

The information you share will be used to make improvements to outpatient services for the residents of Medway and Swale.

The survey closes on 20th November 2019 so there isn't much time left!

See here for further information on the outpatient redesign programme.

What if I miss it?

If you miss your chance this time round, they are planning to run a repeat survey next year to find out whether your experiences of outpatient services have changed.
