Have your say about 5 GP surgeries in Medway

Patients at five GP surgeries in Medway are being asked to let decision makers know what is important to them.
what is important to you about your GP

If you are a patient at one of the following GP surgeries then you should have received a letter inviting you to share your thoughts about what you want and need from your GP surgery. The practices are:

  • St Mary’s Island Surgery,
  • Green Suite at Balmoral Gardens Healthy Living Centre,
  • Twydall Clinic,
  • The Pentagon Centre
  • The Sunlight Centre Surgery

Back in July, the Care Quality Commission took urgent action to stop DMC Healthcare from seeing patients at all five of these surgeries.

The Kent and Medway Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), who is responsible for commissioning GP services, awarded a temporary 12 month contract to Medway Practices Alliance Ltd (MPA) who stepped in to provide the GP service at all five surgeries.

The CCG now wants to ask patients what they want to see for the future and what is important to you.

This is the first step in what will be a lengthy decision making process. Your views are really important so do take the time to let them know what you want.

The first stage is to complete an online survey which you can find here

If you cannot complete it online, you can call 07767 004213 to request a hard copy or to conduct the survey over the phone. The survey needs to be completed by Thursday 10 December 2020 so if you are requesting a hard copy, please leave enough time to return it.

There will also be two public events which will be held online on Tuesday 1st December from 3-5pm, or Wednesday 2 December from 6-8pm. For details about how to join click here
